Exponential form is expressed as \(a^n\), where \(a\) is the base and \(n\) is the exponent. The exponent tells us how many times to multiply the base by itself.
Example: \(2^3 = 2 \times 2 \times 2 = 8\)

Exponential notation can also be written in expanded form. Instead of using the base and exponent, you multiply the base by itself the number of times indicated by the exponent.
Example: \(3^4\) in expanded form is \(3 \times 3 \times 3 \times 3 = 81\)
Standard form for an exponent is simply the result of the multiplication. For instance, the standard form of \(2^5\) is \(32\).
